After a good deal of trial and error, the site is finally live.
The goal was simple: a clean, professional home on the web that I own end to end. It is hosted on the DigitalOcean platform and built with the Adritian Free Hugo Theme, a static-site setup that keeps things fast and secure.
Getting here meant picking up a little of everything: domain setup, Ubuntu Linux, the Apache server, SSL certificates, and a fair amount of HTML and Markdown. None of it was in my day-job description, but that is rather the point. If something needs learning, I learn it.
